Nancy Witters, (ERYT 500hr) brings her love of Iyengar yoga to her teaching with a style that is intuitive, creative, and passionate. She has found that alignment of the body brings physical freedom, a calm mind, and a light heart. While enrolled in Starseed Yoga’s 500 hour teacher training, under the direction of Jyoti Chrystal, Nancy was introduced to Iyengar yoga by Christopheray, one of her most influential teachers. Nancy is also currently studying with Theresa Rowland at Studio Yoga to prepare for her Iyengar teacher certification. In addition to teaching traditional yoga classes Nancy also teaches Adaptive Yoga for students living with disabilities and studies with Matthew Sanford, founder of Mind Body Solutions, and his wonderful staff. Nancy fully embraces the truth that yoga is for all minds and all bodies.

Meditation is for everyone! Learn to slow down, cultivate awareness, and raise consciousness. In four classes, a student will have access to four different types of meditation to use to focus and still the mind. The four styles include breath, sound, visual, and introspection, and will be taught on a rotating schedule. Come to one class and leave with confidence and knowledge of how to meditate and still the mind. Learn the theory of Raja Yoga based upon the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, an ancient and sacred yoga text that first systemized yoga. Deepen your practice and love with Saraswati and Chitra, disciples to Sri Guruji Reverend Jagannath Carrera, a disciple to H.H. Sri Swami Satchidananda. Start Meditating today!
